1:00 AM Phew... I'm darn tired and sleepy too... Well, just got back from the SMCCI Gala Dinner & EYA 2004 held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Ballroom. Went with my collegues and including my 2 bosses... The event is about SMCCI awards to those malay entrepenaur. Didnt know that in our malay society there's so many entrepenaur who are successful in their business... That's good... Anyway, overall... I would say the food's not bad but the programmes were not that successful... There were so many miscommunications and the sound effect from the mike of the host had gone hay-wired i think... I mean sometimes they are talking loud and sometimes they are talking softly... And sometimes.. we cant even hear them... Oh well, I least I enjoyed washing my eyes (cuci mata) in that ballroom... *laughs* A cute guy serving our table caught my eye... *wink* He was not wearing glasses the first time and when someone approach him and asked where his table were... He took out his glasses and wore it... That really caught my eye... *laughs* Darn cute... Keep looking at his way when he's served at our table... Even got to hear his voice... Keep saying "Can I collect the plate, mam? More water mam? Any soft drinks for you, mam?" *laughs* Dont worry guys, I'm not crazy or anything... Just having a crush on the opposite gender... Who doesnt?? Anyway, saw some big shots in the Gala Dinner like... suhaimi yusoff (well, he's the host), Eka Marina, Shasha (ex-elite), Shah Ibrahim, Adi Rahman... Talking about Adi Rahman.. this guy always think that I'm someone else... There's one day when I was attending a malay wedding at a CC with my mum, Adi and Shah was there too... I was coming out from the CC and Adi was going inside... He looked at me as if he found me soOOooo familiar and smile at me. I looked behind and thought he was smiling at someone behind me... But nobody was there... so I smiled back... Again today, that happened too... I was waiting for Kak Juliana (my collegue) in the reception area when Adi with his cool trendy clothes walk opposite me and looked again at me like he had known me from somewhere and when he saw me looking at him, he smiled. And again I looked back seeing that nobody was behind me... Looked back at him and smiled back... Hmm... something is fishy here... Does another person have my face or what?? Anyway, this is how my friday night is... Besides events taking place in my life... Work has been piling up as usual on my desk. Now it seems Im the only one who does the accounts. Man... they shouldnt have given me the position of Assistant Accountant. It should be Account Executive... lol.. I mean I didnt assist anyone in doing the accounts.. All the while, I've been doing all the client's accounts... So what's the point of having an assistant in front eh? Alrighty then, I think I better stop here... I cant keep my eyes open any longer. Need to get some ZzzzZZzzz... Take care people... |
