11:22 PM It was a normal day today as usual. Normal routine at work... And everything was okay until I got a msg from my sec schl mate. "Dear frens, huizhen's funeral will be held tonite till thurs at blk blah blah blah... " After reading it, my mind just totally went blank... I thought my sec schl mate was joking about it but that's impossible.. April's fool was over a long time ago... *Sigh* I just could not believe it that she's gone... It's okay if that person was a stranger to me and I would still felt sorry for that stranger's family. But this is someone whom I had known from my secondary school times in the band... 5 years of memories during our secondary school's band days... *sigh* And I just coincidencely met her and the other band members (who are also her friends, which also makes them my friends. duh...) last mth, i think, at Lot 1 when I was out with my dearest. And she's also the one who saw me and shouted my name... And how did she died? *sigh* I had found out that she was one of the 4 Singaporeans who died at Bahrain when the overloaded ferry capsized... I did heard about the news but didn't know she was among them... *sigh* gosh... She's so young... At my age, her life just ended like that... She will not experience her marriage life, having children, growing old with her loved ones... *sigh* I guess life is unpredictable... but I guess... It's her time and that, cannot be avoided. Huizhen.... Even though we rarely contact each other and hang out... I still feel that I had lost a gd friend... You'll be missed by lots of people.... |
